Durga ji is worshipped through the nine days of Navratri and is kept in the mandir as the protective mother form.

How to use and place it

Place the murti on a wooden chowki or a raised mandir shelf, ideally facing east or west, with the face of the murti towards the room. Offer water, flowers and dhoop as part of your regular puja and keep the surrounding space clean and dry.

Care and handling

Wipe with a dry cloth after each puja. Once in a few weeks, clean with lemon and salt, tamarind paste or any ordinary brass polish, rinse and dry fully. Do not leave it wet, and keep strong acids and bathroom cleaners away from the surface.

Every order is packed with bubble wrap and a rigid outer box, then dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of payment. We ship across India through India Post, with delivery normally taking 5 to 10 working days. Delivery is free on orders above Rs 499.
